Each piece is crafted from reclaimed wood, salvaged from old windowsills, beams, or architectural elements. Natural variations in colour, grain, and texture are to be expected — these are not flaws, but rather beautiful traces of the wood’s previous life.
Slight dimensional differences, small imperfections, and patina are part of the piece’s authentic, timeworn charm.
Our Weathered Black and Weathered White finishes are designed to look aged and distressed. Chips, cracks, and fading are intentional, adding depth and vintage character to each item.
The nature of solid wood
Made from kiln-dried solid wood, each piece may experience minor cracking, shrinking, or shifting over time. These changes typically occur within 1–6 months and are caused by variations in humidity, temperature, and environmental conditions.
To help minimize movement, your furniture should be placed in a climate-controlled space.
Care & materials
A high-quality clear furniture wax is applied during finishing to protect the surface from light spills and daily wear. To preserve the beauty and integrity of your piece:

- Coasters to protect against stains and rings directly on the surface

We’ve now purchased a large rug and the Louanda Round Coffee table with this boutique, and we couldn’t be happier. Kimberly’s communication is incredible, and shipping was top notch given we live on the west coast! Our pieces were exactly as described and depicted. Can’t wait to buy more :)
His was delivered quickly and the quality is SUPERB. I could not be happier with it.
Bench looks very different from the image on the website. I am well aware that wood varies from piece to piece especially when using reclaimed wood but the bench we received is way more worn and has way more cracks that are a lot deeper. Additionally, I am not a fan of the thick wax finish that was used as it makes the bench look like fake wood and not like a natural aged piece. Also beware that these benches are handmade in China which was not stated in their product description. Overall the bench is still beautiful but the one on the website is a lot nicer.
