How to take care of your rug
Like most rugs, our vintage and one-of-a-kind rugs need some love to last longer. We recommend that you:
- Vacuum your rug periodically.
- Rotate your rug from time to time.
- If you spill any liquid on your rug, wipe it off immediately. If your rug needs a thorough clean, take it to a professional.
- Never wash your rug in a washing machine.
- We recommend adding a rug pad to increase the life of your rug.

Why does my rug appear lighter or darker than the pictures?
Light hits the rug differently depending on the angle from which you view it. It will look darker from one side and lighter from the other. Note that we always photograph the most contrasting and darkest side of the rug.
What is your return policy on vintage rugs?
At Blanc Marine Boutique, we want every purchase to be a positive experience. If you are not satisfied with your rug, you may return it within 15 days of receipt.
* This policy does not apply to our custom rug pads. The rug pads are non-refundable.

How old are your vintage rugs?
Our vintage rugs have either been previously owned, exhibited in galleries or stored during this period. Slight imperfections are normal and contribute to the character and charm of our handmade pieces. Our vintage rugs are on average 20 to 50 years old and have never been altered from their original state, only repaired if necessary (with the exception of rugs marked as "revitalized"). Each of our rugs has been professionally cleaned and inspected.
